Kaori Sawahara

Kaori Sawahara is Tadashi's girlfriend and has an extremely sensitive sense of smell. She becomes jealous when Tadashi is around other women, and her unusually sharp nose seems to warn her when the creatures are approaching. In the anime adaptation, Kaori takes the central role rather than Tadashi.
