Kanzeon Bosatsu

Kanzeon Bosatsu is one of Heaven's five great Bodhisattvas, associated with mercy and compassion. She orders the Sanzo Ikkou to travel west and has watched over Goku and the others for centuries; in Saiyuki Gaiden, she is Konzen's aunt and the person who brings Goku to Heaven. Her irreverent personality contrasts sharply with her divine status.
