Kanbei Kuroda

Kanbei Kuroda is a former member of Hideyoshi's forces who is driven south by Ishida Mitsunari after his own plans to seize Japan are uncovered. He tries to exploit the country's turmoil for his ambitions but is repeatedly outmaneuvered by Motonari and Yoshitsugu. Kanbei appears as a prisoner with his hands locked to a ball and chain, which he also uses as a weapon.
