Character profile
Kaede
楓Biography
Kaede is Chifusa's attendant and childhood best friend. Her loyalty is so strong that she deserts the Manyuu clan alongside Chifusa, yet she still frequently orders her supposed superior around over matters such as money and fights.
Story spoilers
The manga and anime repeatedly imply that Kaede's feelings for Chifusa are romantic, particularly through her jealousy when Chifusa is around men.
