Junko Saotome

Junko Saotome is Nana's sensible, no-nonsense best friend and a more emotionally mature presence in her life. She regularly pushes Nana toward greater independence and responsibility. In the manga's bonus sections, Junko hosts the reader-mail and fan-art pages, and Nana K. often calls her "Jun."
