Joker

Joker is the series' protagonist and a passionate phantom thief who steals valuable artifacts. He strongly rejects being treated as an ordinary petty thief, seeing himself instead as a miracle maker who sends advance notices so his targets have a fair chance to oppose him. Mischievous and teasing, he often provokes opponents with rude jokes and taunts, though he rarely follows through on the harsher things he says.
