Biography
Android 17 is a former human whom Dr. Gero turns into a cyborg alongside his twin sister, #18. Rebellious and protective of his freedom, he resists his creator's control.
Story spoilers
17 kills Dr. Gero and later encounters Cell while searching for Goku with 18 and 16. He is killed when Cell explodes, then wished back to life; Kuririn uses another wish to remove his explosive device.
