Biography
Ioryogi is Kobato's companion and usually appears as a stuffed toy dog. Foul-mouthed and bad-tempered, he sharply criticizes Kobato's naïveté, calls her "Dobato," and sometimes hits her when she makes mistakes, though he also acknowledges her genuine efforts. He can unleash powerful blasts when angered, while his true origin is initially unknown.
Story spoilers
Ioryogi was once one of the masters of the "other world" and started a war against Heaven. In the manga, his human form is a handsome, long-haired man with tattoos beneath his eyes. The final chapters reveal that he loved an angel named Suishou, who resides within Kobato's body.
