Inuyasha

犬夜叉

Biography

Inuyasha is a half-demon born from a dog youkai and a human. He fights with claws and the supernatural sword Tessaiga, made from one of his father's fangs, and possesses regenerative ability far beyond an ordinary human. His connection to Tessaiga also fuels hostility with his full-demon half-brother Sesshoumaru.

Story spoilers

On the night of each new moon, Inuyasha temporarily becomes fully human, losing his youkai powers until the transformation ends. As the story progresses, he masters additional Tessaiga techniques and develops romantic feelings for Kagome while still carrying feelings for Kikyo.
