Ikuto Tsumura

Ikuto Tsumura is a teenage aspiring fashion designer who has taught himself the craft since childhood. Financial hardship forces him to put that ambition aside at first: as the oldest child and only son, he helps his mother care for his sisters, handles much of the housework and considers full-time employment instead of college.

After befriending Chiyuki and taking a part-time job at Yanagida's studio, Ikuto begins seriously pursuing fashion design. Despite lacking formal training, he is intuitive, diligent and quick to learn, with a natural gift for patternmaking. His experience is strongest in ready-to-wear clothing, making haute couture a greater challenge.
