Ichirou Dougo

Ichirou Dougo is a first-year student and member of the Earth Defense Club. Cheerful and energetic, he throws himself into everything with little caution and often repeats a word three times for emphasis. He frequently argues with classmate Taishi Manza, likely because of their opposite personalities, though the two still spend plenty of time together. Dougo also admires upperclassman Nanao Wakura so much that Nanao's teasing often goes over his head.
