Ichigo Kurosaki

Ichigo Kurosaki is the main character of Bleach and a high school student in Karakura Town who has been able to see spirits since childhood. His encounter with Soul Reaper Rukia Kuchiki changes his life when a Hollow threatens his family and Rukia transfers spiritual power to him, temporarily making Ichigo a Soul Reaper in her place.

Ichigo is stubborn, short-tempered, impulsive, and strongly protective. Although he often presents himself as detached, he is compassionate toward people in distress and readily fights for those he cares about.
