Character profile
Hyaweh
ハヤウェイBiography
Hyaweh is a laid-back Windland knight-school student who skips classes, forgets textbooks, and prefers avoiding fights when possible, though he will step in to protect others. He carries the bastard sword Ala-Gladius, and his origins remain uncertain.
Story spoilers
Hyaweh appears to have fallen from the sky as an infant with Ala-Gladius and is implied to come from the Ark, a high-tech spacecraft. The sword can harm Angels, and in the anime finale he awakens it with Priecia, drawing power from an orbital satellite and transforming them into a supernatural being capable of rivaling the Angels.
