Character profile
Hyakurin
百淋Biography
Hyakurin is an assassin and lieutenant in the Mugai-ryū. Her swordsmanship is unremarkable, but she has extensive knowledge of poisons and fights with Burafuma, a collapsible wrist-mounted crossbow armed with poisoned bolts and two blades usable when the weapon is collapsed.
Story spoilers
After her husband kills their son, Hyakurin kills him in revenge, is sentenced to death, and is recruited by Kagimura into the Mugai-ryū. Later injuries limit her fighting ability, and she eventually leaves the organization after becoming pregnant.
