Honoka Sakurai first met Yamato during childhood at her family's shrine and has had a crush on him ever since. Too shy to talk to him at first, she finds a new opportunity when he enters her high school and joins her class.
Story spoilers
Honoka begins talking with Yamato and the two become friends. When he joins the track team, she decides to become its manager so they do not grow apart.
