Hisashi Uehara is a popular, handsome student who repeatedly ranks among the school's most attractive boys. Aloof and antisocial, he earns straight A's without studying and ends up sharing a home with Nao because of a rental mix-up. He also has a surprisingly large appetite.
Story spoilers
Both of Uehara's parents died while he was in elementary school. After a long unreturned crush on Yuri, he gradually falls for Nao and eventually begins dating her. Near the manga's end they move into separate apartments, only to discover that their new homes are next door to each other.
