Hikaru Tezuka

Hikaru Tezuka joins the Library Task Force at the same time as Kasahara as a Librarian First Class. Strong in lectures, library clerical work, and combat, he initially judges Kasahara harshly for failing to meet his standards.
Story spoilers
He later acknowledges Kasahara's improvement. Tezuka is later promoted to Chief Librarian. His older brother Satoshi belongs to the government's Library Future Planning Committee, and their strained relationship weighs on Hikaru until he finally lets go of a watch Satoshi once gave him. Hikaru also grows closer to Shibasaki and eventually develops mutual feelings for her.
