Haruto Kirishima is a reserved young man with a strong sense of responsibility and consideration for others. He joins his school's cooking club because he expects his longtime crush Nanami to join as well. As a child, Haruto once helped a lost Yuzuki during a festival and told her to visit him if she ever needed help, though he no longer remembers the meeting when she later arrives at his home.
Story spoilers
Haruto gradually becomes protective of Yuzuki and the two become close friends. He eventually confesses his feelings to Nanami, who asks to remain friends while she thinks about her answer. Yuzuki also confesses to Haruto, telling him that she believes he will eventually fall for her.
