Haruna Sairenji is Rito's responsible classmate and has been drawn to his kind nature since junior high. She lives with her older sister Akiho, belongs to the tennis club, plays left-handed, and fears ghosts and the supernatural.
Story spoilers
Haruna keeps her feelings for Rito hidden because she believes they are unrequited and does not want to hurt her friendship with Lala. She eventually confides in Lala, who accepts Haruna as a romantic rival while remaining her friend.
