Happy is a machine cat from Excede, Rebecca Bluegarden's companion, and a member of the Edens Zero crew. His Happy Blasters ability transforms him into a pair of guns that fire Ether bullets powerful enough to incapacitate without killing.
Story spoilers
Rebecca originally finds Happy as a young cat and gives him his name because his friendship makes her happy. After a drunk driver kills him, Professor Weisz revives Happy in a machine body, allowing him to continue his friendship with Rebecca.
