Biography
Hänsel and Gretel are unnamed Romanian identical twins whose childhood in a state-run orphanage subjected them to severe abuse and forced violence. The experience leaves them cunning and dangerous, with Hänsel wielding a battle axe while Gretel uses a Browning Automatic Rifle.
Story spoilers
The names “Hänsel” and “Gretel” are actually identities the twins exchange between themselves. After killing members of Hotel Moscow, Hänsel is shot from a distance and left to die in a Roanapur park. Gretel escapes aboard the Black Lagoon and briefly begins responding to Rock's kindness before a Hotel Moscow hitman kills her as well.
