Hanabi Kitaoji

Hanabi Kitaoji is a quiet, shy 17-year-old who comes to Paris for her studies and lives under the care of the Bleumer family. Having spent most of her life in France, she is deeply interested in Japan and knows its traditional manners and arts largely through books. She is close friends with Glycine and performs at Chattes Noires as “Tatamize Jeune.” Her fear of water stems from losing her fiancé Philippe de Maleblanche in a shipwreck on their wedding day.
