Character profile
Hana Arai
荒井花Biography
Hana Arai is the second main character of The Case of Hana & Alice and becomes connected to Alice through the mystery surrounding “Juda.” More observant and deliberate than Alice, Hana keeps her own whimsical impulses under tighter control. She is jaded, cynical, and often expresses herself through dry, deadpan humor.
Story spoilers
Hana once dropped a bee down Juda's shirt on impulse, causing an allergic attack and leaving her so shaken that she largely isolated herself afterward. Her friendship with Alice gradually pushes her to confront what happened instead of avoiding it, and Alice becomes an important friend to her by the end of the film.
