Hajime Sokotani

His mother's death by suicide precedes Balta's arrival. After Balta becomes his angel, he uses the angel's powers to acquire money and change his appearance through plastic surgery, though his poor communication skills still hinder his relationships. Sokotani later becomes obsessed with Kanade and offers to serve him; Kanade accepts only if he captures another God candidate.
