南雲ハジメ

Otaku / Love Smashers / Duelist Smasher Whitehead / Master / Papa

Biography

Hajime Nagumo is a 17-year-old otaku who is routinely bullied by classmates, partly because of his closeness to the popular Kaori. He and his class are suddenly summoned to another world to become heroes, where Hajime receives the “Synergist” job but remains weak and continues to be treated poorly.

Story spoilers

After being struck by a classmate's fireball, Hajime falls into an abyss and survives its brutal environment. Eating a wolf-like monster and repeatedly healing with sacred water radically changes his body, leaving him muscular, white-haired, red-eyed and marked with red lines. His once-kind demeanor hardens into a ruthless willingness to kill threats, though he still cares deeply for his comrades.
