Character profile
Haji
ハジHagi / Saya's Chevalier
Biography
Haji is Saya's devoted companion, recognizable by the bandages covering his right arm. His overriding wish is to protect Saya and fulfill her wishes.
Story spoilers
The bandages hide Chiropteran features that he cannot change back into human form. Haji first met Saya as a 12-year-old child brought to Joel's mansion to be her companion. After he was gravely injured in a fall, Saya gave him her blood and unintentionally turned him into her Chevalier. Unlike Saya, he neither eats, sleeps, nor enters long periods of hibernation.
