Gudetama

Gudetama is the genderless yolk of an unfertilized egg, commonly shown reclining on egg white or appearing as an ingredient in Japanese dishes. Its defining trait is extreme laziness, reflected in a name that plays on "gude gude," an expression associated with having little energy or strength. Gudetama debuted through a Sanrio contest for new characters based on Japanese food, placing second to KIRIMI-chan.
