Guan Yu

Guan Yu was a general who served Liu Bei during the late Eastern Han and Three Kingdoms era. He became one of East Asia's most famous historical figures, celebrated in later tradition as an embodiment of loyalty and righteousness and commonly depicted with a red face and long beard. He is also traditionally associated with the Green Dragon Crescent Blade, though the weapon attribution is presented as legendary rather than certain.
