Goei

Goei is Hakufu's widowed mother, a strong fighter and a loving but strict parent with a flirtatious streak. In the manga she opposes a romance between Hakufu and Koukin despite teasing him about his crush, while the anime portrays her as even stronger and somewhat more encouraging toward Koukin.
