Ginpachi Nekota

Ginpachi Nekota is Genji Kamogawa's longtime friend and eternal rival. Though he lives as a mountain hermit with his dog Hachi, he remains closely involved with boxing, studying recorded matches and helping prepare the Kamogawa team for upcoming fights.

In his boxing days, Nekota relied on exceptional reflexes, agility, and instinct and was considered comparable in strength to Kamogawa and Dankichi.
