Ginko

Biography

Ginko is a wandering Mushi master who travels from place to place studying Mushi and helping people affected by them. Because he naturally attracts Mushi, remaining in one place too long can become dangerous. Laid-back in ordinary moments, he becomes serious when protecting people and stresses that Mushi are simply living parts of nature rather than inherently evil beings.

Story spoilers

As a child, Ginko was known as Yoki and was taken in by Nui after being found wounded and abandoned. An encounter with the Ginko Mushi cost him an eye and altered his hair, while Nui disappeared; afterward he adopted the name Ginko.
