Gilliam II

Gilliam II is the artificial intelligence of the Outlaw Star, responsible for monitoring the ship, reporting its condition, and performing space-travel calculations. In zero gravity, Gilliam can direct miniature maintenance robots for repairs. Unlike other AIs in the setting, Gilliam has a distinct personality, mixing polite concern for the crew with dry sarcasm and occasional pride in the XGP's advanced design.
