Story spoilers
In the manga, Saji fully assumes the identity of Ouin while helping Hakufu master the Water Dragon Fist, absorbing the dragon's negative energy and losing an arm before eventually taking his own life. The anime gives him hypnotic mind-control abilities and a darker role before he later seeks atonement. Great Guardians then reveals another fighter named Genpou Saji, complicating the identity he had been using.
