Genma Saotome

Genma Saotome is Ranma's father, a somewhat arrogant martial artist whose cowardice and laziness often keep his abilities out of view. He brings Ranma to Jusenkyo without understanding the Chinese warning about its curses. When splashed with cold water, Genma turns into a panda and communicates in that form by holding up written signs.
