Gargoyle

Gargoyle is a gatekeeper created by the alchemist Totensha and won by Futaba in a shopping-district lottery. Though shaped like a winged dog and unable to move any of his body parts, he can talk with animals and statues that possess “heart.” Futaba orders him to protect the Yoshinagas' town, and he can fire several kinds of beams, fly, move or teleport at great speed, and sense events around the household.
