Biography
Gaara is introduced during the Chuunin Exams as a violent young shinobi from the Wind Country. He travels to Konoha with his siblings Temari and Kankuro and their mentor Baki to participate in the exams.
Story spoilers
A childhood marked by fear and isolation leaves Gaara merciless and focused only on himself. Like Naruto, he is a Jinchuuriki, carrying the one-tailed Shukaku. His confrontation with Naruto changes his outlook and teaches him to value other people, leaving him deeply indebted to Naruto.
