Francis Harcourt

Francis Harcourt is the son of a wealthy English nobleman and is raised by his kind aunt Emma Queensbury. Rejecting rigid social divisions, he embraces noblesse oblige and devotes himself intensely to charitable work, sometimes at the expense of noticing other people's affection. He meets Nadja at a charity ball, and their shared memories form a bond as their travels repeatedly cross.
