Biography
Fai D. Flourite is a powerful magician from Celes who seals King Ashura away before deliberately traveling to Yuuko Ichihara's shop. Rather than pay the full price of a wish never to return to Celes, he joins the group traveling between worlds while fearing Ashura's eventual awakening.
Story spoilers
Fai's true name is Yuui, while his late twin brother was the original Fai. Fei Wong Reed manipulates Yuui through grief and curses, after which King Ashura takes him to Celes. Yuui calls himself Fai, and Ashura later gives him the surname Fluorite. Fai later seals Ashura into a deep sleep and leaves Celes to avoid facing him when the spell eventually breaks.
