Erza Scarlet
エルザ・スカーレツトTitania / Elsa / Elsa Scarlett
Biography
Erza Scarlet is a main character in Fairy Tail and an S-Class mage of the Fairy Tail Guild. Her Requip magic lets her summon weapons and equip armor stored in another dimension, making her one of the guild's most formidable active members. Erza is strict, intimidating, impatient, and strongly committed to justice, while remaining deeply loyal to Makarov and the guild she joined as a child.
Story spoilers
Erza spent part of her childhood enslaved and forced to work on the R-System tower. Fellow slave Jellal gave her the name "Scarlet" because of her hair, and her magic awakened around the time she escaped. She later sought out Fairy Tail after hearing about the guild from Rob, another slave who had cared for her. Erza also has an artificial right eye given to her by Porlyusica after her natural eye was blinded by an injury.
