Biography

Emma is a reserved, somewhat educated young woman whose refinement can be mistaken for simple shyness. She can read and wears glasses that would normally be beyond the means of someone in her social position.

Story spoilers

Orphaned early, Emma survives as a flower girl until Kelly Stownar takes her in as a maid-of-all-work. Kelly then teaches Emma the practical skills she needs to support herself through work.
