Elis Shihou is a recent transfer to Kimei Academy who is recruited into the Astronomy Club on her first day.

During a battle with an Emulator, her artifact Ain Soph Aur, which takes the form of a bracelet, reveals its power to protect her. Anzelotte tells Elis that her special ability can open a path to the Emulators' world. To do so, she must gather seven Jewels of Virtue; their abilities include healing, suppressing power, and allowing Ain Soph Aur to form an energy sword.
