Character profile
Elijah Kiel
イライジャ・キールBiography
Elijah Kiel is Gai's wingman and the only member of the group who wears a ZAFT uniform. He initially pilots a customized ZGMF-1017 GINN and, despite being a Coordinator, lacks the superior physiology associated with Coordinators, leaving his mobile-suit handling comparatively weak at first. Mercenary battlefield experience steadily improves his piloting.
Story spoilers
Before joining Gai, Elijah served with ZAFT beside his best friend Goud Vair and killed Goud at his friend's request to end his suffering. Parts from Goud's GINN were later used to repair Elijah's own machine, giving it lasting sentimental value.
