Eiichi Misumi is Karen's classmate and joins the Game Club at the beginning of the series. He specializes in arcade puzzle games but adapts to new games by observing other players. Eiichi says he became interested in gaming after losing his memory when he was younger, with block puzzles providing a link to his past.
Story spoilers
The anime's final episode reveals that Eiichi escaped underground organizations and later encounters his estranged sister Riki during the finals of a game tournament.
