Character profile
Duke
デュークPoivre
Biography
Duke is Chocolat's red-and-black striped frog familiar. Although he is supposed to help her collect hearts, he is more often found sleeping or lounging around and tends to offer discouraging remarks instead of advice. He ends his sentences with “-kero” and frequently quarrels with Blanca.
Story spoilers
In the manga, Duke is actually Poivre, Cinnamon's brother. He transformed himself while hiding after protecting Cinnamon from palace guards, but the spell backfired and made him a true familiar; a white heart later restores his human form.
