Datto
Biography
Datto appears in two sharply different forms: a barefoot boy capable of extraordinary running speed and a sinister hare-like demon armed with a scythe. He helps Keiichirou train for a race.
Story spoilers
Datto is a ghost who died after being struck by a car while training for a sports-festival race. He later attacks runners and collects their legs, but stops himself from cutting off Keiichirou's legs after hearing that Keiichirou considers him a friend. Datto is then put into spiritual sleep.
