Daisaku Kusama
草間大作Biography
Daisaku Kusama is a 12-year-old entrusted with the wristwatch that controls an extraordinarily powerful robot. He sees that power as a heavy responsibility and believes he should use Robo to help the world, as his father wanted. At times, Daisaku worries that he is helpless without the robot, while his youth also leaves him somewhat naïve.
Story spoilers
Daisaku initially admires the Shizuma Drive as a source of clean energy until he learns about its darker past.
