Cyclonus is a Decepticon created by Unicron and defined by overwhelming loyalty to Galvatron. He transforms into a nuclear-powered jet capable of space flight and can enlarge himself to transport Galvatron; in robot form he uses an oxidating laser, while his vehicle form also carries incendiary bombs.
Story spoilers
His exact previous identity is left unclear, with the film indicating that Unicron created him from either Skywarp or Bombshell. After Galvatron disappears following Unicron's destruction, Cyclonus tracks him to Thrull and restores him to leadership despite Galvatron's resulting instability.
