Coud Van Giruet
クード・ヴァン・ジルエットCou
Biography
Coud Van Giruet is a young member of the Red Lynx sky pirates who lacks both skill and respect within the crew. He accidentally awakens the Edel Raid Ren after a raid and, despite her distrust of humans, treats her like an ordinary girl and agrees to escort her to Eden Garden. On his own, Coud fights with a grappling-hook weapon used mainly for evasion and trickery.
Story spoilers
After reacting with Ren, Coud's right arm is replaced by a wind-based sword that can launch wind at enemies and create defensive barriers. His attachment to Ren is based on feelings for her rather than her power, though he struggles to explain that clearly.
