Chuugoku

China is portrayed as the oldest country in the series, with a long history and a serious, highly superstitious personality that can also turn immature. Food is his foremost concern, and he is extraordinarily artistic even though he is poor at drawing anime and manga. He also loves pandas, Hello Kitty, and other cute things, and commonly ends his sentences with "aru."

China once raised Japan and also cared for Hong Kong. He tries to act as an older-brother figure toward the other Asian nations, though they do not generally treat him that way.
