Chihaya Ayase

Chihaya Ayase is a determined schoolgirl with remarkable hearing and a deep commitment to competitive karuta. Believing that continuing with karuta will let her meet Arata again, she starts a high-school karuta club with Taichi Mashima.

Although Chihaya is considered beautiful, her unusual personality leads classmates to describe her as a “waste of a beauty.”
